‘Default World Dreaming’ a group show at Gallery 151 opening this Thu March 20th
I am part of this group show which is arranged by the Burning Man people at Gallery 151. The title of the show is “Default World Dreaming”. I am participating with my ‘S_PACE #15’.
The opening reception is this Thursday March 20th, 6-9PM at 132 WEST 18th St (6th and 7th Ave). Please come.
Washington Square Park- Trees
As I was walking through Washington Square Park in Lower Manhattan to a photo shoot I realized the beauty of all the trees and decided if it was still light when I was done I would walk back the same way and explore the tree tops.
East River Park towards Brooklyn
As I was biking around looking for trees I came across this spectacular view in the East River Park towards Brooklyn. The amazing view of Williamsburgh bridge and the old Domino Sugar factory (to your left).
Trees in McCurren Park this morning
Walked passed McCurren park in Brooklyn this morning on my way to an appointment, I was stunned by the beauty of the bare trees.
Woman In Red- Prince St.
As I was biking Prince St. towards my studio space in Tribeca I saw this woman in a Red coat. I passed one of my favorite walls in downtown Manhattan and stopped and got off my bike hoping the women would pass the wall. I spotted her a block away and was ready with my camera on the other side of the street. Lucky I was she passed by with no one else in the picture except for her ‘cavalier’.
One Eyeland Award- Finalists
My series ‘Away’ was the finalist in the Fine Art Portraiture category as well as one image from my ‘Hopper’ series in the One Eyeland 2013 Awards .
One Eyeland Award- Bronze Award
I just found out that my series ‘S_PACE’ won the Bronze Award in the Fine Art Abstract Category in the One Eyeland Photography Annual 2013.
L’Oeil de la Photographie- Write up
I recently went to a Fine Art Portfolio review organized by ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers). My work was chosen to be included in a presentation at L’Oeil de la Photographie a very prominent Art blog in Europe.
The work I showed at the review were from my two series ‘Away’ and ‘S_PACE’ .
Happy “Alla Hjärtans Dag” – All Hearts Day
A Baby Tree is born in my window today which I think is appropriate for a Valentine’s Day. In Sweden we call this day “Alla Hjärtans Dag” which mean “All the Hearts Day”.
