After I shot the film about the factory I made a set of portraits of the crafts people that worked in the factory. Here are a few samples.
Sherle Wagner corporate documentary film finished editing
The Sherle Wagner corporate documentary I was asked to do at the beginning of this year and which was shot in May is now finished. The film is a documentary about Sherle Wagner’s factory in Fall River Rhode Island. It emphasizes the workers attention to details and that the product is ‘made by hand’. Sherle Wagner is a company that makes bathroom products such as sinks, tubs and faucets among many other things. As soon as the film is uploaded to VIMEO I will post a link here.
Trip to Dixon in New Mexico
I spent a week in the art community of Dixon (about an hour from Santa Fe) visiting a friend, artist Marie Coburn. It is my second visit here and I am still amazed by the nature of New Mexico: the dessert, clouds, cactuses, the artists etc.. I am now thinking about going back there this fall and film a documentary about the artists as well as doing one about the distribution of water…. more to come. Here a few picks.
