Winner Creative Quarterly 53
I just got words that two of my photos one from the ‘allONE’ series and one from the present ‘stiLife’ series were chosen winners in CQ53. I am honored and happy.
One Eyeland Fashion Award w/ my new ‘stiLife’ series
Just found out that two of my photos from my latest ‘stiLife’ series won Bronze in the FineArt as well as the Personal Categories in the One Eyeland Fashion awards. The images also took a 6th place in the overall competition.

Gente Di Fotografia no. 68 just out
Recently a portfolio of mine was published on 6 pages in the Italian Fine Art Photography Magazine ‘Gente Di Fotografia‘ no. 68 showing my ‘Away‘ and ‘BOaRD‘ series as well as using one picture from the ‘Away‘ series as its back cover.

‘Light’ , a Fine Art photography and poetry magazine with a quarterly publication, will feature two of my ‘S_PACE‘ photographs in its ‘Departure’ issue coming out this fall. I’m honored.
Creative Quarterly top 100 for “A Quiet Moment”
“A Quiet Moment” was voted one of the top 100 winners in Creative Quarterly 2016 and will be published in a book later this year.
Winner “The Independent Photographer”
One of my East Africa Portraits was a winner in “The Photo Independent” competition which means there will be an exhibit in Berlin at the end of the year.
Museum of Contemporary African Diaspora Art (MoCADA) exhibit
I will take part in an exhibit in Brooklyn at the MoCADA Museum with 2 of my African Portraits from the series “Evidence of Resilience” in May 2017.
Shortlisted for Communication Art 2017
I was shortlisted for the CommArt 2017 award with one photo from my ‘allONE’ series in the ‘For Sale’ category.
First Place in APA National 2016 Awards
Just found out that one of my portraits from the “Evidence of Resilience” series won First Price in the ‘Fine Art’ category in the 2016 in the American Photographic Artists 2016 Awards (APA).
