Today the winners to the ‘Communication Arts 2013 Photography Annual’ were officially announced. I won with the above image ‘Away no. 01’ in the ‘Unpublished’ Single Image category.

I just got word that one of my images from the ‘Away’ series was chosen as a winner in the Communication Arts Photography Annual. It won in the ‘Unpublished single image’ category.
Gallery opening in Los Angeles April 20th
One of my photos from the ‘Away’ series (see previous post) is opening on April 20th in LA. The show is curated by Anne Lyden a photo curator at the J Paul Getty Museum in L.A..

Winner ‘Creative Quarterly’ (CQ31) with my new series ‘Away’
I just got words that my new series ‘Away’ (working title) won as a series (5 photos) in the prestigious Art & Design Magazine ‘Creative Quarterly’ (issue #31) . The issue will be out this summer (2013). “Away” is the 6th installation in my ‘First Degree’ project.

One of my images (below) was selected by Anne Lyden, a photography curator at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, to be part in a gallery show later this spring.
The image is one of my latest from a series I currently call ‘Away’ which is part of my First Degree (FD) series.
